London has 4 Major Trauma Centres (MTCs):


North:

  1. The Royal London Hospital - Bart’s Health

  2. St Mary’s Hospital - Imperial Hospitals NHS Trust


South:

  1. King’s College Hospital

  2. St George’s Hospital


In addition the neuroscience centres of:

  1. The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, UCLH

and

  1. Queen’s Romford

provide care to Brain and Spinally injured patients


For Paediatric patients, Great Ormond Street Hospital provides care in North London with George’s and King’s providing care in South London


London’s Air Ambulance provides the initial care to severe head injuries within the M25 and delivers to all of the MTCs
